Elephant Safari & Hmong Nong
Hoi
including Botanic Garden
Start from THB 2,990
The elephant shows themselves are refreshingly
un-circus like. The emphasis is placed on the skills that
elephants have traditionally been taught to aid with the logging
of trees. (thankfully large scale illegal logging is no longer
an issue in Thailand, although neighboring countries still
suffer). The strength of the elephant / mahout relationship
is also highlighted.
Enjoyable bamboo rafting. White water
rafting it is not, but it is a relaxing float down a beautiful
river, with a few faster flowing sections adding some spice.

guide.
