Chiang Mai Riverside Restaurants

Where and What to Eat in Chiang Mai Riverside

Dining by the Ping River is a definite must when in Chiang Mai. Here, you will find some of the best value Thai food in the area, combined with stunning views and variations of live music from jazz to rock to funky soul. The Riverside has a venue to suit a romantic pairing or group gatherings. Other than Thai food, expect to find range of international fare including Mexican, Japanese, barbecued steaks and seafood.

There is something about Riverside dining that is soulful and unique, the frisson of dining by the Seine, the Thames or the Chao Phraya river is not lost on the Mae Ping but rather naturally enhanced by the fresh and diverse produce to be found at a range of prices that are very reasonable. An unfortunate fact about the river is that the mosquitoes enjoy it just as much as visitors so come prepared. Most venues keep insecticide but you can never be too careful.
