Chiangmai/Thaton (Lunch/Dinner) After pick up passenger from hotel in Chiang Mai, our first destination is Mae Sa Elephant Camp where you can see elephants demonstrating their intelligence and skills. After the show you can enjoy a one-hour elephant ride through the jungle. After lunch at the Orchid and Butterfly Farm, our trip continues to Thaton Temple located on the top of the hill, offering an overlooking view of beautiful valleys and the winding Kok River. Enjoy the dinner and stay overnight at Chalet Resort in Thaton. |

Thaton/Hilltirbe Village/Long Neck Tribe/Chiang Rai (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast at Chalet Resort, transfer to the Karen Long-Neck Tribe Village, the Karen tribes are unlike the others because they wear golden rings around their necks arms and legs, hence their necks are unusual long. Within the same area, the Akha Tribe which originates from Tibet whom still maintaining their traditional customs and wear lavish decorated. After lunch at the Mae Sai River near the Thai - Myanmar border, visit Mae Sai tax-free market that sells a variety of goods including carvings and clothing. After lunch at local restaurant, head off to the Golden Triangle where you visit the opium house at the legendary Mekong river, which winds its path through China to the Golden triangle. Standing on Thai soil you will overlook Burma and Laos. From the Golden triangle, drive up to visit the ancient city of Chiang Sean, the first capital city of the Lanna Kingdom in 1328. You can visit the multitude of sites including ancient ruins of temples, stupas, and ancient city wall and moat. Staying at a hotel in Chiang Rai, within walking distance to the popular Night Market. |

Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai (Breakfast/Lunch) After breakfast at the hotel in Chiang Rai, transfer to Wat Prakaew in Chiang Rai. Built 600 years ago, the temple is believed to be where the famous Emerald Buddha situated at the Grand Palace in Bangkok was originally found. After a visit at Wat Prakaew, transfer to the Kok River where you take a long-tail boat up the winding river to visit a Karen Hilltribe Village. |
