The words “Nawarat Chiangmai” were inspired by Nawarat Bridge, a bridge across the “Ping River”, which is one of the important symbols of Chiangmai Province and is more than one hundred years. Time has passed but the glamour of the old bridge has not. Our building is near to Nawarat Bridge. The beauty of the bridge was the inspiration for the owner to create a hotel which keeps the unique characteristics of both Chiangmai and Nawarat Bridge. That building became the “Nawarat Chiangmai” Boutique Hotel that has still kept the old building’s character with a contemporary feel included.
The hotel is decorated and integrates the old and new styles together, the flavor of the boutique style, with a striking interior decoration using teak and Ormosia SP wood including all the amenities. The atmosphere of the rooms is quiet and peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of the town, close to the well-known shopping areas in Chiangmai such as Rimping Superstore, the Night Bazaar, Thapae Gate, the Sunday Working Street and near restaurants with a good atmosphere such as Good View, Riverside, Khantoke etc. or if you would like to see the arts, there are lots of galleries along the Ping River.
