From the ministerial grandeur of the Grand Ballroom to the enchanting beauty of our Lotus Pond surrounded by lush foliage, our spaces will stimulate the most active creative thinking. In this setting hard work will only be a pleasure.

You can choose from 7 different meeting spaces each flexible in its configuration, we can accommodate from as few as 10 delegates to as many as 1,500.

Ballrooms

Jum Thong Hall is Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi’s elegant Grand Ballroom and function space. The Hall’s imposing architecture and soaring roofline capture the refined character of royal Thai architecture of the past. The striking white Naga staircase at the entrance ushers guests into a dramatic scene. The magnificent interior is decorated with rich carpet, silk wall coverings and elaborate chandeliers. Each wall is punctuated with a series of doors allowing daylight and fresh air to flood the room. An enclosed courtyard with private entrance is perfect for welcoming guests with cocktails. Jum Thong Hall is an ideal venue for parties and banquets on a grand scale. The space can accommodate up to 500 for receptions and 400 for banquets.

Jum Ngern Hall is Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi’s Junior Ballroom, suitable for functions from 50 to 140 persons. Inspired by traditional Chiang Mai architecture, the tiered roofline is surmounted by a golden bell-shaped dome. Fine woodcarving and stucco work on the facade heighten the beauty of this extraordinary building. The interior is decorated in classic style with high ceilings, luxurious silk-padded walls, plush pale-yellow carpet and European-style mouldings. This space is ideal for small to medium size banquet functions, meetings and conferences. Located across the courtyard from the Grand Ballroom you may wish to combine these spaces for a special event.

Jum Ngern 1 & Jum Ngern 2 – These two rooms can accommodate small meetings of 10-12 persons. They can be set up as formal conference rooms or as a more informal atmosphere with soft furnishings. We can also arrange them for private dining up to 12 guests, with menus created from any of our restaurants. Adjoining Jum Ngern Hall they can also be used for break-out sessions or as preparation areas for your main event

Outdoor

Khong Khao Lawn offers one of Thailand’s most spectacular outdoor venues for corporate or special events. The backdrop is one of architectural beauty, with our Prayer Hall and the roofline of the Le Grand Lanna Restaurant. Surrounded by towering rain and flame of the forest trees, Khong Khao lawn can create an atmospheric location for either intimate affairs or banquet events. The magic of Lanna art and culture comes to life on Khong Khao Lawn, with northern Thai dance and music and state-of-the-art light and sound system. Finish off the evening with a breathtaking display of fireworks or release lanterns into the night sky for good luck in the age-old Lanna tradition.

The brick amphitheatre is surrounded by a moat and towering trees, it is quite simply a magical spot. Candlelit concerts, folk dances, opera, and Thai shadow puppets are just some of the many special events which can be arranged here.
