White Meo Hilltribe & Doi Suthep Tour

This is one of Thailand's most revered Temples and must be visited. This Buddhist Temple is situated on top of the Eastern Mountain included in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, which is 262.5 Square Km in extent. The mountain has beautiful views overlooking Chiang Mai City 15 Km below. Leading up the mountain is a 300 step naga (multi headed serpent) staircase to the temple. The full length of the staircase on either side has the body of a serpent, with the multi head serpent heads at the base of the stairs.

For those who need fast access the temple there is an elevator. The mountains high altitude ensures the weather on the upper slopes is cool and pleasant all year round. Continue by truck along a bumpy mountain road to visit the White Meo hilltribe village. It’s a scenic route.
