Anantara Golden Triangle

Facilities & Services

Area Excursions
The setting is tranquil, but recreation and fun are always close by. Every day, Anantara features a range of organized and do-it-yourself activities in the gorgeous surrounds of our resort. Days at Anantara can be as laid-back and relaxed or as action-packed as you desire. Choose your own adventure!

Elephant Camp

Designed as a traditional northern Thai mahout village, our onsite working Elephant Camp is the setting for our most sought-after Golden Triangle resort activities, offering the chance to interact with elephants in a stunning natural environment while helping to contribute to the conservation efforts of the resort.

The Elephant Camp at Anantara Resort Golden Triangle offers guests a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with these gentle giants. Learn the gentle commands to steer your own elephant. Trek along a backdrop of lush green jungle and rolling hills or take
a dip in the river. Connect to the everyday adventure, intrigue and camaraderie of the camp on the Elephant WebCam.

Perched on the ridge overlooking the hills of Myanmar and Laos, Anantara Resort Golden Triangle is an enchanting leap into the region. Relax in the luxury of one of 58 deluxe guest rooms, each with views of three countries, or indulge in one of 19 spacious Anantara Suites, with open bathrooms with oversized tubs for two.

The Anantara Experience is an immersion in the culture, heritage and natural beauty of some of the most revered destinations in the world. Our three resorts in Thailand in Hua Hin, Koh Samui and the Golden Triangle, as well as our luxurious escapes in the Maldives and Seminyak, Bali, offer unique expressions of indigenous culture. Embark on an unforgettable journey with the gracious service, adventure and insight of Anantara.

Elephant Trekking

Discover the region the way it was meant to be explored: from atop an elephant! Our acres of bamboo jungle and riverside trails are the setting for leisurely ambles atop our two-ton beauties. Start your day with a morning trek along the Ruak River – as close to Burma as you can get without a passport!

Swimming

Anantara Golden Triangle Resort & Spa is proud to be the site of the most idyllic pools in all of Asia, requently highlighted in the global travel media. Float in the free-form, infinity-edged pool looking down over the tree canopy towards the Mekong River and up to the green hills of Myanmar and Laos. Alternate with a soothing soak in the adjacent Jacuzzi.

Yoga Classes

Enrich your mind, body and soul with the power of Hatha yoga. Be guided by our qualified and nurturing instructors through a series of age-old breathing techniques and gentle stretching and bending postures. Release energy blockages in the body, clear the mind, relieve stress and induce a sense of inner harmony. One of our most special Golden Triangle resort activities, these classes are perfect for beginners
or experienced yoga practitioners.

Experience physical and emotional renewal in perfect privacy. Book a tailor-made class in the tranquility of your own room or at one of the serene settings where yoga is practiced at Anantara Resort. Classes are 1.5 to 2 hours. Please contact Guest Services for reservations and information.
